The breast pads ensure safety in the breastfeeding period and have a calming effect on the skin because of the addition of finest silk. The bourette silk we use still has the sericin, the silk gum, which is recognisable by the typical silk smell. Bourette silk is nubby and the sericin has an anti-inflammatory and healing effect.
Characteristics: These breast pads are 2-ply, one layer 100 % virgin wool (from certified organic livestock), one layer silk, purl knitted.
Care instructions: You should wash the Breast-pads very gently – by hand in lukewarm water. Do not wring or rub wool products, as this could cause felting.
